The Isagenix Myth

By dannica1981

Stay away from Isagenix it is unhealthy and the only ones getting rich are the owners!

I have done extensive research on Isagenix after being given a huge sales pitch on weight loss and huge incomes being brought in by an Isagenix rep in Victoria Canada. Joyce assured me I could lose 50 pounds in 4 months and be bringing in a 6 digit income in that same time frame, all with the wonders of Isagenix! After surviving the nine day program I must admit I lost an astonishing 5 pounds.( Joyce said I did something wrong, it works for everyone else!)
Before being further sucked in I started my research utilizing the expertise of a dietitian, 2 nutritionists, and 2 medical Doctors specializing in obesity and weight related medical conditions….the consensus.. Isagenix is nothing more than a fairly good multi vitamin, fiber supplement and protein supplement combined, and using over the counter versions of these 3 components and utilizing the same regime, you will most certainly attain the same results! How ever I must note that none of the experts recommended this regime and even advised against it as an UNHEALTHY way to lose weight. The very best method, Eat properly, reduce calorie intake and exercise.

Good luck,

 Dannica

So you have been fooled too! I’m glad I’m not the only one!
After losing a miserable 3 pounds on the sufferable 9 day expensa-cleanse, I consulted my Doctor, who told me “don’t ever do that to your self again, it is an unhealthy and potentionaly dangerous way to diet!”
If you notice any of the so called professionals that endorse Isagenix are all selling the stuff and any independant review you read by any Doctor or dietition will advise you to stay away from Isagenix!
PLEASE for your own health and safety, consult a professional before being taken by a modern day snake oil salesman!

    Cheers Chloe

Dannica: Thank you for your sound and sensible response!! Thankfully, I have convinced my husband not to try Isagenix!! I was particularly curious myself about what a nutritionist or a doctor would think about this program, and you have anwered my questions. The only reason for these Isagenix success stories is because of the restricted calorie diet, which will cause anyone will lose weight. The program doesn’t seem to offer anything for the long term success. I would like to speak to some of these people in a year or so, when all the weight and more has crept back on. Thanks again!
